Questions, answered

Quick answers to what Dafado is, what costs what, and how the whole thing works. Want the long version? Every answer points you to the details.

What is Dafado?

Dafado is voice reviews: real people, in their own voice, telling you what a place or a person is actually like. You cannot fake the sound of someone who means it, and that is the whole idea. No star padding, no written reviews from who knows where, just a voice you can trust.

Do I need an account to leave a review?

You do not sign up first, you just talk. When you are done, we send a quick link to your email so you can confirm your review, one tap and it is live. No password, no forms. That little step is what keeps every voice tied to a real person, which is the whole point of Dafado.

Is Dafado free?

A lot of it is, and here is the honest breakdown. Leaving a review is always free. A creator page, the kind that is about a person, is free forever: your page, your code, collecting voices, and replying all cost nothing. For a place, claiming it and replying are free too; the paid part is collecting your own reviews and seeing the dashboard and insights.

What does the subscription cost?

€29 a month, or €290 a year if you would rather pay once and forget it. Places get a full 90 days free to try everything first, and we never ask for a card to start. If it is not earning its keep, you cancel in a click.

What is the difference between a business account and a creator account?

A business account is about a place, like a cafe, a shop, or a clinic. A creator account is about a person, like an artist, a teacher, or a tattooist. The simple version: a place lives on a map, and a person does not, so a creator page is built around you instead of an address.

I work for myself, a hairdresser or a trainer or a tattooist. Which one am I?

You are a creator, and you are in good company. You get a free page people can leave voices on, and the day you want to actually see what they are saying and track it like a business, you can switch on the paid tools right from your own page. The page itself stays free, always. No pressure, no lock in.

What are the business tools?

The good stuff for when reviews start adding up: insights that pull out the themes people keep mentioning, replies in your own voice, and analytics. Places get them with a subscription, and creators can switch on the very same tools as an upgrade. One promise we will never break: paid tools only help you read and reply, they never change what people said or let you rate yourself.

Can a place hide, reorder, or delete a bad review?

No, and this one is not up for debate. A place can reply to anything in its own voice, but it can never hide, shuffle, or delete a review. If businesses could quietly bury the bad ones, none of this would mean a thing, so we simply do not allow it.

Can I reply to a review?

Absolutely, and in your own voice, not a canned message. Whether you run a place or you are the person being reviewed, you can record a reply for free. It is a conversation, not a comment box.

Can I make a page about someone else?

No. A creator page can only ever be about you, and we check that it really is you. Nobody gets to make a page about another person, which keeps Dafado somewhere people can feel safe being talked about.

What languages does Dafado support?

Fourteen, and counting. People can leave and read voices in their own language, and Dafado quietly handles the transcription and translation in the background so nobody has to think about it.
