Every real review stays up, the good and the bad. And every place can answer in a real human voice. Here is exactly how it works, so nobody has to wonder.

What gets published

Every real voice. Full stop.

If a real person was really there and really said it, it publishes. We don't hide the hard reviews, we don't reorder them, and no place can pay to make one disappear. That is the whole reason a Dafado review is worth something.

Confirmed, not curated

Every reviewer confirms by email and attests they are a real person speaking in their own voice. What they say after that is up to them.

Hard reviews stay too

A place that only ever shows praise isn't showing reviews, it's showing ads. Guests know the difference, and so do we.

The voice does the vetting

An honest complaint sounds honest. A rant sounds like a rant. When you can hear the person, you don't need us to tell you which is which.

The right of reply

You answer in your own voice.

A review of your place is never the last word. You can record a reply in your own voice, and it appears right beside the review, so anyone reading hears both sides.

Your voice, not a template

Replies are recorded, not typed. A guest hears the actual person who runs the place, and that changes how the review lands.

Shown together

Your reply sits with the review, never on top of it. The review is not buried, and your side is right there next to it. Context, not cover-up.

Replies stay up too

Same rule as reviews: a real person, your own voice, and it stays. Fair is fair.

What we remove

We take down what breaks the rules. Nothing else.

Removal is Dafado's call, never the business's. A place can never take down or hide a review of itself. We remove a review only when it is one of these:

Hate speech, threats, or a personal attack on a named member of staff
Someone's private information said out loud
A competitor, a former employee with a grudge, or anyone who was not actually a customer
Off topic: not about an experience at the place
Not a real voice: synthetic, impersonated, or paid for

A low rating is not on that list. Neither is being harsh, being wrong, or being bad for business.

See something that breaks the rules? Tell us.

Every review page has a report link. Tell us which rule you think it breaks, we look at it, and we tell you what we decided and why. If a voice is removed, the person who recorded it is told too, and can respond.

Why we do it this way

Trust is the product.

The internet is full of reviews that were bought, traded, or typed by a machine. Dafado only works if every voice on it is real and no voice can be quietly deleted. That protects your guests, and it protects you: when your praise lives next to your problems, and your own voice answering them, people believe all of it.
